The European Commission yesterday opened formal proceedings against TikTok for an alleged breach of the Digital Services Act (DSA) in relation to TikTok and #39;s obligation to adequately assess and mitigate systemic risks to the integrity of elections, in particular in the context of the recent Romanian presidential elections on 24 November, the EU Commission said in a press release.
