The ECB cuts the reference interest rate by 0.25%

The Board of Governors of the European Central Bank (ECB) decided, yesterday, to reduce the reference interest rate by 0.25%, marking a new step towards the moderation of the restrictive monetary policy, according to a press release issued by the said banking institution.
