The political crisis triggered in May, with the dismissal of the Bologna government by motion of no confidence, not only did not find a solution in July, but also produced an unprecedented situation in recent history: Romania has been led since May 5, 2026 by an interim Executive, with limited powers, while President Nicuşor Dan manages to coagulate a parliamentary majority that will ensure the vote of investiture for a new prime minister.
