Only 6% of S and P 500 companies are losing

* In the Russell Midcap index, the share of companies with negative results is 14%, and in the Russell 2000 - 42%

Amid strong consumer demand and the resilience of the US economy, only a fraction of America and #39;s largest companies are losing money this year, according to an analysis by visualcapitalist.com.
