The parliamentary elections in Germany, which will take place on Sunday, February 23, are of paramount importance not only for the future of the respective state, but also for that of the European Union and, implicitly, Romania, because the results of this election depend on the new political direction of the federal government in Berlin, a direction that will have an impact on European policies and bilateral relations.
