After examining the first set of documents sent by the Government on December 9 regarding the state budget for 2024 and the budget projections for the period 2025-2027, the Fiscal Council considers that it is very possible that the budget deficit next year will significantly exceed the deficit for 2023 , there are major risks regarding the budget consolidation process, according to the preliminary opinion published yesterday by the public institution.
