EIOPA: Cyber risks and geopolitical turmoil threaten European insurance and pensions

Current geopolitical tensions, rising inflation, weakening economic growth prospects, high asset valuations and the rise of cyber threats are forming an increasingly dangerous mix for the European insurance sector and occupational pensions system, according to two scoreboards published at the end of July by the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).
