Emergency Medicine in Romania, between Systemic Fragmentation and the Pressure of Technology

The Romanian medical system continues to function with a 'hiatus' between emergency medicine and the rest of the healthcare structure, said the rector of the 'George Emil Palade' University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology in Târgu Mureş, Leonard Azamfirei, at the National Congress of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine (CongrEMs 2026).
