Microplastics found in Pacific fish, study shows major differences between islands

Microplastics were found in about a third of fish sampled in the territorial waters of several Pacific island states, a proportion lower than the global average but marked by significant discrepancies from one country to another, according to a study published in the scientific journal PLOS One, AFP reports.
